The purpose of the PayPal donations
button located below, is for several reasons.
We wish to make this website bigger and better,
along with the addition of adding several other
Artists from Art History and todays future history.
Since this is not a profiting website, we are
looking to find some way to cover expenses of
time (research of each artist, collecting of
images, site design), server space, domain names,
etc.
This site started out as a
single page on angelfire.com
in 1997 with Edvard Munch's biography and no
images. It had so many people interested in
seeing more, I just couldn't resist and adopted
a fresh domain name in 2002. I learned a lot
while creating this website and would love to
assist people all over the world, in learning
about Art History.
